Miss Kuiina Madsen returned to her home in Fountain Green, after having made a very rapid recovery following an operation for ruptured appendix. Master Max Thompson, con of Chris Thompson of Spring City, was operated upon last week for adenoids. Ho was able to return home a few hours after the operation. Miss Matilda Jensen of Ely, Nevada, Neva-da, daughter of Mr. N. P. Jensen was operated on for appendicitis. She has made an uneventful recovery and will be able to return to her home rex! Sunday. V, Miss Charsiy 'Curtis of Moroni, viigliter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Curtis, was recently operated upon for enlarged glands of the neck. The operation was a difficult and tedious one, requiring the combined efforts of three physicians. Miss Curtis has made a very good recovery and will be able to return home Sunday. Miss Olive Anderson of Ephraim was brought to the hospital last Monday Mon-day in a very critical condition. She had a ruptured appendix causing a general penitinitis with a large ab- cess formation. The doctors had small hope for her recovery, but she has made a good rally from the op-eratioa op-eratioa and those in attendance are now more hopeful. Mr. James J. Anderson of Fountain Foun-tain Green was operated upon last Saturday. Mr. Anderson is seventy-six seventy-six years old and for the last thirty years has been troubled with large hernia which during the last six months became so troublesome that I Mr. Anderson decided, in spite of his ! age, to have it attended to. The operation op-eration was very successful and he is making a good recovery. Master Kay Jorgenson, son of James Jorgenson of this city, was operated op-erated upon last week. Master Jorgenson Jor-genson has been suffering for some time with repeated attacks of rheumatism rheum-atism and it was thought wise to remove re-move his large tonsils and adenoids, thus getting rid of the source of trouble before the boys heart became be-came affected. He was able to return re-turn home a few hours after the operation. op-eration. Mrs. D. 0. Larsen, wife of Mayor Larsen of Moroni, was operated upon last week. Mrs. Larsen has been suffering suf-fering for some time past with attacks at-tacks of appendicitis. She came to the hospital upon the advice of Dr. Linebaugh and when her appendix was removed it was found to be filled with puss and about to rupture. Mrs. Larsen has made a splendid recovery and will be able to return home some time next week. Mrs. Madsen, wdfe of Andrew Mad-sen Mad-sen of Spring City, ws operated upon up-on last Monday for gallbladder trouble. trou-ble. Mrs. Madsen has been suffering for the last six or seven years. The operation showed one small stone but also a polyp in the neck ot tne - gallbladder which it was neccessary to remove. Besides these a pyloric 1 stenosis of the stomach was found and likewise corrected. Mrs. Madsen is making "a g.ood recovery from the operation. |
