Show Pairview "Jj One of thj most successful events of the early summer parties was the Moonlight Social given the young ladies by the officers of the Y. L. M. I. A. at the o'.d school play ground on Tuesday evening. A short program was rendered, interesting games were indulged in, after which a unique luncheon wss served in cabbage leaves and paper boxes. , Watch for tha Big Apron dance coming June seventh. A very enthusiastic and interesting interest-ing game of ball was played last Saturday between Manti and Fair-view Fair-view teams. The score stood seven to nine in favor of Manti. Mrs. O. M. Sanderson of Odgen is visiting relatives and friends in Fairview. Miss Dora Day is spending the ' week with friends in Ephraim. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Sanderson ' entertained the Sunshine Club Mby the 2Cth. in honor of Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Sanderson who leave for Provo this week where they expect to remain re-main in the near future. A very pleasant evening was spent and delicious de-licious refreshments were served.. The Ladies Literary club met at the home of Swen O. Nielson, The lesson was given by Mrs. Jessie Tur-pin, Tur-pin, parlimentary drill by Mrs. A. U. Miner, vocal solo and current events by Mrs. J. P. Lassen. Dainty refreshments were served. Mrs. Mable Johnson and Miss Gladys Stewart were brought home from the Winters Hospital Monday. Mr. Myron Turpin of Fairview and Miss Carrie Rasmussen of Salt Lake City were married last week at Manti. We wish them success on their journey in life. The six months old baby of N. P. Christensen died the twenty second of ervsipelas. The little one was very deliciate and had been ill for about a month. The parents have the symphathy of the entire community com-munity in their bereavement. Charley Peterson was taken to the ' Winters Hospital Wednesday to be operated upon for appendicitis. ! i Mrs. Albert Clement is very sick . with erysipelas. Last week Mrs. E. J. Kearns of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Will Davis of Montpeleir Idaho visited with their niece Mrs. Charlei Peacock. The ward primary conference was held Sunday, an excercise, song and memory gem were very credit- ably renoered by each class. A number num-ber of the Stake officers were present. |
