Show HIGH SCHOOL COMMENCEMENT The North Sanpete High School held their Graduating Excerises at the Opera House Tuesday evening May 2Sth. As the class of 1912 was the first to graduate from the institution in-stitution it marked an epoch in the history of the school. There were fourteen graduates namely, Ernest Pritchett, Plumas Boyden, Vasco Tanner, George Olsen Walter McArthur, Merlin Madsen, 1 Flossie Stakrr, L?ah Winkler, Geneve Gen-eve Johnson, Lucile Frandsen, Ro- anna Larson, Ruby Madsen, Myrtle Johnson, and Fern Watson. All of whom did themselves honor and credit to the school. The exeercises were carried out in a very creditable manner changing chang-ing a little from the usual program given on such occasions. The High School is starting out in the right wav in training the students to be economical and not going to unnecessary un-necessary expense in their commence ment exercises. Flowers were not permitted to be given and the class was dressed in plain white and black following alter the higher institutions instit-utions of learning. The program consisted of short addresses, songs, readings and solos which was highly appreciated by the large audience in attendance. |
