Show Mt. Pleasant Baseball Association Organized. The Mount Pleasant Baseball Association As-sociation is now fully organized and a real live interest is taken by the prominent business men of the city in helping the boys start the bail rolling. Liberal donations have been contributed to the baseball fund by most of the businessmen and the association as-sociation is helpingto get the gams going. The winning team receives sixty per cent of the gate receipts while the lofsing team will get forty. for-ty. The playersill get fifty of this leaving ten per cent for the association associa-tion to meet expenses. ' A complete lineup has not yet been mustered into service but will soon be ushered in. It will however be the same as last year with the exception ex-ception of Nielson and Campbell who are not able to be here this .season. The officers of the association are: J W. McGann, manager; Fred Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, secretary and treasurer; S. D. Longsdorf , director and property-man and Frank Bohne, A. D Sutton, R. A. Bioadhurst and C H. Eatinger, directors. Prof. C. L. Johns of Wasatch Academy was chosen Captain of the team. Ed Braby and J. Kelly will be the pitchers pit-chers and the rest of the lineup will be made later. |
