Show N : North Sanpete High School Begins a New Year The North Sanpete iHigh School opened Monday mornii g with con-uitions con-uitions more auspiciou.'. than even the most sanguine friend of that institution had anticipated. And improvement in everj respect has been noted throughout the week since. During the summer the entire second floor of the new building has been completed and other improvements improve-ments made. Nearly all equipment for the various departments is at hand and everything in readiness for a year of what bids fair to be splendid splen-did work. . The initial registration carried Ahe enrollment over ninety, and the --Toutlook Wednesday was that by the tjid of the week it would easily reach the hundred mark, 'ihose in touch with condition throughout the North Sanpete district anticipate a final enrollment of about 150. Present indications in-dications jutify a prediction that that number will be reached. The usual interest is being shown in the school by Mount Pleasant people, and the attendance from this city is all that could have been expected. ex-pected. Fairview is sending about the same number of students already al-ready this year that it sent last, and it is probable the number will be doubled soon. Many Fairview students stud-ents are planning to come to this city to live during the winter, but V even with that a second wagon may lecome necessary from there . Spring City has started a wagon already and indications are it will be crowded crowd-ed when all start who contemplate attending. In addition to these, Mil-burn, Mil-burn, Chester and Indianola are represented in the school. |
