Show Celebrate Pioneer Day, Salt Lake City. Not since the jubilee jubi-lee in 1897, perhaps, has Salt Lake seen such a celebration of the Twenty-fourth of July as found expression in the grand pioneer pageant of the morning, the patriotic exercises at the Tabernacle at noon, the luncheon to the pioneers at the Hotel Utah,: the grand revue of all nations at. Liberty park in the afternoon, the electrical parade of the previous night and the revelry of the closing of the Wizard of the Wasatch celebration at the Gulch at midnight. |
