According to a report given by the Deseret Evening Ev-ening News real bullets added zest to their game of war, as the Utah ' guardsmen continued the strenuous duties attendant upon their encampment encamp-ment here. The maneuver grounds and foothills east of town are alive with soldier boys, executing manv and various military movements, offensive of-fensive and defensive. Against an imaginary enemy and under the watchful eyes of the officers and instructors, in-structors, the militiamen are demonstrating demon-strating what might be expected of them if called into actual lighting. At 11 o'clock the guardsmen returned to camp Burit after having been out on the maneuver grounds since an early hour this morning. Company B of Ogden yesterday afternoon af-ternoon scored a good record in field "ring. There were 27 men firing on (he lino in the first two advances and 14 skirmish scouts die third and last advance. The members of (ha company were instructed by Captain Wilson II. Hunt. They were part of the reds of Utah opposing the nh.es of Idaho. A messenger had brought to the commanding officer of the reds a dispatch which informed him that a detachment of th enemy was in the surrounding hillH. A swimming pool at the cement works Is enjoyed by the officers and men. The maneuver camp will be broken Saturday and the companies of Infantrymen In-fantrymen will depart for their home towns.
