Show . FOUNTAIN GREEN Miss Joan Sorensen of Ephraim is a guest of Miss Florence Jackson. The Dry-Farmers of Fountain Green have begun cutting their grain on the Divide. '; i Mr. Johnson and son, Rex are visiting vis-iting with Mrs. Pete, Hansen. Mr. Johnson was formerly a resident of this place and is renewing old acquaintances ac-quaintances and friendships. Mrs. Ed. Robertson and family of Basin, Idaho came out in their car to spend the 2 4th with relatives. While here they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. A'Jtone Frandsen. Mrs. J. C. Coombs is suffering from a severe attack of rheumatism and blood poison; and Leo Coombs 'has just recovered from a case of blood poison. Mrs. Lester Cook met with a painful pain-ful accident Saturday morning, July 24th, while preparing to go to the program, by catching her foot in a rug and falling, dislocating her knee. Dr. Linebaugh is in attendance. 7 A small child of Wilford Coombs met with a painful accident last week, while'' Mr. and Mrs. Coombs were attending at-tending to some out-door duties, leaving the children in the house. The little fellow went out to look for his mother and fell into Borne sage brush which was burning near the house. His hands, arms and legs being badly burned. The commiunity was shocked by the sudden death of Mrs. Rebecca Jewkes on the morning of the 24th. She was in average health for a person per-son of her age, and her sudden death was very unexpected. Sister Jewkes was a native of England and came here with the early pioneers. She was 78 years of age and is survived by five children, all of whom are married. Funeral services were held at the L. D. S. meeting house Monday, Mon-day, and interment was made in the Fountain Green City Cemetery. t |
