Boydt n and i'amil were up from Manti Saturday, to witness the basket ball game be tween the Manti High School and the North Sanpete High school team.. The annual ball given by the Women Wom-en of Woodcraft at the Opera House Monday evening, was one of the nost successful affairs ever given by the organization and meritedja much larger crowd than was present. Those that were present are free to express themselves that it was the best dance of the season. In honor of the 6st anniversary of the birth of John Reynolds, presi-. dent of the Owl club, the members of the club tendered him a surprise last Saturday evening at his home. Mr. Reynolds was presented with a beautiful gold signet ring, bearing the inscription, "P. M. O. 1912," as a token of remembrance by the club members. The evening was pleasantly pleas-antly spent in social chat and card playing. A committee on constitution constitu-tion and by-laws was appointed. Dinner was served at 10:30 .and Sreakfast at 3:30 and not until the head of the feathered tribe in the barnyard announced the hour, did the crowd think of adjourning, thit-being thit-being the usual hour for departure, the members repaheu to their re sportive homes, all feeling that the night had been well spent. |
