Show FOUNTAIN GREEN Some of the shearers have gone t( Jericho, to make preparations for th shearing season. Miss Leah D. Sorenson of Provo is visiting with her grandparents, Mr and Mrs. S. S. Eusler. Miss Katie Anderson has opened up a fine line of Confectionery and Notions at the old Post Office Place. Most of the students from here, who are attending school at Provo, are spending conference vacation at home. Quite a large number of people are conference visitors this week. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacobson, Bishop John T. Oldroyd, Eliza Coombs, Stena Anderson and MrB. Niels Mikkelson being among the number. The Home Economics "April Fool Party" was a decided success. The ladies drew their partners for lunch, which consisted of two apples, a number of "j'okes" were played on the dancers and enjoyed by all present. Friday evening the retiring Bishop was given a party at the Meeting house. Pres. A. Merz and Daniel Rasmussen and wives, of Mount Pleasant, were present. A splendid program was prepared and talks were given by the visiting brethren and members of the old and new Bishopric. Ice Cream and cake was served and an extra large crowd was present. |
