Show FAIRVIEW Mr. Will Terry has purchased a new Maxwell automobile. Mrs. Frank Rigby of Garfield is visiting relatives. All of our B. Y. U. students are home for the Spring vacation. Chas. K. Hansen is reported very ill at his home. He is one of the oldest men in this community. Lavern Swenson has lately purchased pur-chased the home of Andrew Neilsou and will make his home here. Mrs. Ellis Wilcox of Castledale is visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Newel Cox. Mrs. Jesse Turpin is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Bohne at Garfield. Gar-field. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Christensen went to Idaho Monday. Mr. Christensen Chris-tensen has employment there. Merlin Madsen, who taught school in Idaho the past winter, returned home last week. Miss Nellie Watkins of Salt Lake City spent the past week visiting friends at Fairview. Miss Helena and Miss Fern Chris tensen visited in Salt Lake City the past week. Warren Brady, Orsen Tucker and Jack Christensen went west Tuesday, to shear sheep. Joe Carlston and others went east to Dragon to shear. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brady, who have spent the past two years 'at Garfield, returned to Fairveiw this week. They will make their home here. Milton Oakey and Mrs. Downs of Nephi are visiting with their sister, Miss Sadie Oakey of the public school faculty. Mr. Hyrum Fechser purchased a half Interest in the pool hall owned by H. W. Sanderson, Jr. Mr. Fechser will manage and run the business. Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Allred, who have lived in Idaho for several years, have returned and will make their home here. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Nordstrom and family, who have spent the past winter here, returned to their home in Idaho last week. The Y. M. M. I. A. have discontinued discon-tinued their meetings. They have had a very successful winter's work. The Young Ladies will hold their meetings on Tuesday evenings, in the future, at 7:30. John R. Graham, II. S. Olson, Jos. Carlston, Chauncy Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rasmussen, Mr. and Mrs. James Allred, Mrs. N. P. Christensen, Christen-sen, Mrs. Stena Stewart, Mrs. Lewis R. Larsen and Mrs. Carl Sundwall were among the conference visitors to Salt Lake City. The Misses Leona and Grace Olsen ' entertained about thirty of their ; friends at an Easter party Sunday evening. The evening was spent in playing games, music, etc. The rooms were decorated in white and yellow and a three course supper was served to all present. W. O. Christensen came home from Chicago this week. He is now an M. D. He has spent the past several years studying medicine. He will go to Ogden next week where he will work in the hospital until June when he will again go east to attend the graduating exercises of the medical ' school. He was graduated with hon-1 hon-1 1 or, being the president of his class. His many friends in Fairview are pleased to hear of his success. Monday evening a private dancing party was given at the pavilion in honor of the boys who were going away to shear. About twenty couples enjoyed the evenings entertainment. Miss Verda Cheney entertained a number of her friends Tuesday evening even-ing at a slumber party at her home. Supper was served, after which a merry evening was spent. Their slumbering was followed by an excellent ex-cellent breakfast. Last Sunday evening an Easter party was given by John C'hristcnKen at the home of his father, Albert Christensen. An excellent chicken supper was served, after which the evening was spent in merry games and a general good time.
