Show I MOVEMENT IN i ORDER FOR A CLEAN CITY i ' j As was announced in a previouf f issue of the Pyramid Mount Pleasant 5 is to ha"ve a clean city and a movment i is now on foot to bring every organ- ization in the city to lend a helping hand towards making the city one of j? the very cleanest in the state, jj Last Monday evening commute i consisting of representatives of the i Schools, Ladies Clubs, Wards and I City Officials met at the City Hall and there voiced a sentiment thai i evry organization represented would be pleased in lending all encouragement encourage-ment to a thorough clean-up in all parts of the city. And each organization organi-zation guaranteed hearty support from their constituents. For this particular day Mayor Mon-sen Mon-sen said that: he would declare Arbor Day as the time appointed for all things to be set in order. Everyone is urgently requested to have their premises thoroughly clcced up on or before that day. Where people cre unable to remove re-move the rubbish from their premises premis-es the City will provide conveyances for the removal of such material, if the people will properly pile it up on the street so the parties doing such work can easily haul it away. The work particularly desired to be done is the cleaning of lawns and dooryards, the removal of ashes and garbage, the repairing of fences, the cleaning of sidewalks and sidewalk ditches, and also the cleaning of streets in front of premises. Committees have been appainted from the five voting districts. These committees are as follows: DISTRICT NO. 1. John Gunderson, Peter A. Larson, E. C Freston and James W. Ander-Bon. Ander-Bon.
