Show Bankers Gather At Heber City The fifth annual convention of the Utah Bankers' association opened at Heber city at 2 p. m. A number of delegates had not reached Heber when the convention opened. The sessions were held in the audi torium of the Washington high school with President A. P. Bigelow, cashier cash-ier of the Ogden State bank, in the chair, the attendance at the opening open-ing meeting being about 50 persons. N. C. Murdock of Heber offered the opening prayer, and Mayor James W. Clyde welcomed the bankers. He said that the banker is one of the most valuable citizens in any community, com-munity, and that his worth was being be-ing appreciated in Heber. Cashier Charles R. Mabey of the Bountiful State bank replied in a vein appreciative appreci-ative of the cordial sentiments expressed ex-pressed by the mayor.
