Show ri - - Moroni I Ernest Blackham, who is on an L. j D. S. mission in the Northern States : met with a serious accident which ; resulted in a broken leg. Mr. Black-ham, Black-ham, his companion and a number of others were invited to go coasting, and were enjoying themselves when the accident happened. Blackham is doing lane at present and when his leg permits will come home, Last Monday night the Armada showed their respect by giving to him the entire proceeds of the dance, which amounted to $22 50. The same evening, even-ing, the M. I. A. gave a dancing party par-ty in his behalf in the pavilion, the receipts amounting to $63.75. G. H. Bradley has been seriously ill for some time, but is improving gradually. Black Hawk Reunion will be held j here on the 7th of February, 1912. ; A. J. Cloward has resigned from his position as councilman and Urvin Gee filling the vacancy. Mr. Jones of Nephi will meet with the Counmercial club Thursday evening even-ing to talk up the bell telephone propositioti. Gilbert Monson who underwent an operation at Mount Pleasant for appendicitis ap-pendicitis is doing fine, he came home last Wednesday. Gerome B. Bradley of Black Foot, Idaho is here visiting friends and relatives. Henry Christensen started business at Niels Christcnsen's creamery, Feb. 1st. The choir is anticipating putting on an operetta in the near future. A surprise party was given in honor hon-or of Lee Taylor at Freedom last Sunday night, about 30 guests were present. Games were played and refreshments served. |
