Show MILBURX Grace Edmunds was a Milburn visitor vis-itor last week. Mrs. Alvin Terry entertained the Utility club Wednesday afternoon. The time was spent in reading and in needle work. Luncheon was served serv-ed to those present. The Sunday Schopl is arranging for a Christmas celebration for the children chil-dren on Christmas eve. There will be a short program rendered and the children will draw presents from the Christmas tree and have the pleasure of greeting Santa Claus personally. The many friends of Arthur Stewart, Stew-art, who is on a mission to New Zealand, Zea-land, sent him a Christmas present, pres-ent, consisting of $37 in cash, and a number of useful things, that -will be greatly appreciated by him jn that far off land. Wayne, the S-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Jensen, died Sunday, December 17. He had been seriously ill with a severe cold for about a week. The whole community extends- its sympathy to the bereaved relatives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday. |
