Show On Sunday, Oct. 19 a missionary mis-sionary farewell was held in the Sacrament meeting of the Eighth Ward for Tom Walker, who is the fourth son of Orlo and Zolene Walker to be leaving for a mission. Tom will be going to the Oklahoma-Tulsa mission and leaves on Nov. 8. Here to honor Tom by their attendence at the meeting were his grandmother, Mrs. N.J. Chatterly of Kanab, and cousins, Louis Chatterly of Orem and Rick Landes and Cindy Walker of Provo. Warren and Rose Moyes and their little daughter, Peri, recently enjoyed a trip to Idaho Falls where they visited with Rose's mother, Mrs. Effie Perry. David and Eileen McQueary, accompanied by Eillen's mother, Mrs. Leola Chandler have returned from an enjoyable trip to Whittier, Calif, where they visited with j . Mrs. Chandler's daughter, I ' Jerralie, her husband, j Richard Wirthlin, and their I children. I They also visited with another daughter of Mrs. Chandlers, Linda Chandler, who is living in Hollywood, and Linda accompanied her mother and sister and her husband back to Centerville for a visit. Duane and Joan Marchant are parents of a new little son born on Oct. 11, weighing 9 lbs. and 3 ozs. His name is Joseph Duane but he is going to be called "Foe." His grandparents are Mrs. Annie Page and Mrs. Afton Marchant, both living in Kamas. Jim and Carol Emery enjoyed en-joyed a weekend visit recently with Jim's parents in Idaho. Richard and Terri Steed are rejoicing over a new little daughter born on Oct. 13 weighing 8 lbs. 14 ozs. Her name is Joslyn Rahae, and her grandparents are Lowell and Marjan Steed, Centerville, Center-ville, and Mrs. Juanita Brog-den Brog-den of Tampa, Fla. Visiting with Mrs. Gertrude Roberts is her sister, Mrs. Barbara Muirhead, of Frisco, Colo. |
