Mrs. James Hardy and daughter Erma went to Provo to visit for a month. Friday evening April 18th, the Eighth Grade surprised their teach- -er, N. C. Curtis. They gave him a beautiful watch fob. A very pleasant pleas-ant evening was enjoyed in games and music. A dainty luncheon was served to thirty-three of his students. Chris Christensen and family have returned to Moroni, after spending the last (if teen months at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Winn of Ne-phi Ne-phi was visiting in Moroni the first part of last week. Delina Jensen entertained a few of her friends Tuesday evening the 22nd, at her home. Dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served to the guests. Those present were: Marsela Sco-vil, Sco-vil, Theresa Freston, Millie Anderson, Ander-son, Eva Jensen, Edna Larsen, Mamie Anderson, Maira Morley and Bertha Jensen. Arthur Tolin of Ephraim is visiting visit-ing with his sister, Mrs. Wilford Hardy. Anbell Windous was the winner of the beautiful piano which was given away at Neils Christensen's store Saturday evening, April 19th. Miss Millie Anderson was hostess at a party at her home Sunday afternoon af-ternoon The day was spent in games and a dainty luncheon was served. Lefern Despain entertained a number of friends at the home of her sister, Mrs. Aaron Gee Friday evening April ISth. |
