Show MINNIE WAHLIN DIED AT SALT LAKE CITY One of the saddest funerals witnessed wit-nessed for some time iu Fairview, was that held Monday the 28th, over the remains of Miss Minnie Wahlin, who died of typhoid fever April 24th at Salt Lake City. Miss Wahlin was in her twenty-first year and had been a student in the University Uni-versity of Utah for the past five years. She was stricken down almost on the eve of her graduation. She won the love and admiration of her teachers and class mates by her lovable lov-able disposition and her excellent work as a student in the University. This esteem was shown at . the funeral services held in the thirty-first thirty-first ward prior to the remains being shipped to Fairview for interment, in which Dr. Kingsbury, Prof. Levi Edgar Young, and Prof. Howard R. Driggs of the University of Utah spoke of the sterling qualities and amiable disposition. ' The school sent a blanket of flowers which covered the casket, and her class sent a beautiful design of flowers representing the class colors. The speakers in the services held at Fairview were Brothers H. S. Olsen, Peter Sundwall, Samuel Bills Bishop Peterson and Olof Sundwall who was sent out to represent the University. The speakers paid her high tributes of respect. |
