Show MOUOXl Mis. Raymond Nelson of Sandy is visiting with her relatives at Moroni. Olhnill Kellet and Andreas Nelson were Salt Lake visitors last week. Miss Florine Eliason is the guest of Ruth Faux. The young ladies ball team are practicing up for their next game. Misses Baker and Crane have left for the East. (Hive Cloward of California is visiting vis-iting in Moroni. Clarsia and Lenard Tidwell are visiting in Milford. Miss Sadie Bradley lias gone to Salt Lake for a short visit. Frank Simpson has gone to Salt Lake City Pelbei-t Draper has been here on a short visit. Miss Ethel Olsen entertained the S. .1. S. club Sunday evening. Mrs. Bert rum will begin her sewing sew-ing class Monday morning. Mrs. Eugene Eliason of Sigurd, Utah is visiting at the home, of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Christensen. Christen-sen. Willard J. Blackhani, Jr., leaves for McGill Nevada July 7th where he has employment. Mrs. Blackhani will join him ther in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Eph Anderson entertained enter-tained at a 6 o'clock diner Sunday evening to commemorate the Draper Monument also in honor of Moses Draper's 8 3rd birthday. Those present pres-ent were Moses' Draper, Bishop and Mrs. Orlando Bradley, Mrs. D. 11. Cook, Mrs. Wm. Hart of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dye, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Call, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Blackhani, Wm. S. Allen and Clark Anderson. The Bishop and his Counsellors extend to the People of Moroni a hearty invitation to the meeting Sunday afternoon. A special program pro-gram will greet, those who attend. Although the weather was disagreeable disa-greeable on the Fourth the committee commit-tee carried out their work which made the peop'e forget the inclemency inclem-ency of the weather. In the morning a meeting was held in (he tabernacle. At one o'clock a childrens dance was given. At 3 'clock race-3 were held on (he tabernacle taber-nacle grounds. At 4 o'clock a base ball game took place between the Moroni team and the Manhattcn team of Salt Lake. The game was just becoming interesting when tlir players were forced to stop on account ac-count of a severe rain storm. Score 5-2 in favor of Moroni. The next day following the trams met again and played two g:nnes. The score of (he first was 2-4 in favor of Salt Lake. The score oi the second game stood 12-0 in f-t-vor of Moroni.
