Show The 20lh Century Club was very pleasantly cnterlafned at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Candland last evening at a summer Kensington. There were twenty ladies who participated partic-ipated in sewing, amusements and the pleasures of the evening. Mrs. Candland was assisted by Mrs. Geo. Madsen,.Mrs. Dr. J. C. Stocks and Mrs. Vance Mcintosh. The rooms were beautifully decorated in red and pink roses. The Home Culture Club entertained enter-tained at the home, of Mrs. O. F. Wall Thursday afternoon in honor of ladies of the cluli who are expell ing lo leave the city in the very near j future, and also Mrs. M-.K:r?.v.c"u who ! has recently returned lo Mt. Pleasant She was the first president, of the club and they wished to do honor to her name. The O. N. O. Club was pleasantly entertained by Mit-s Caroline Has-ninsscn Has-ninsscn last evening at the home of Andrew Larson. The usual program was carried out. and an excellent time, enjoyed. |
