Bish-jp Bish-jp li. C. Jacous presiding.. Sacred music was furnished .by ihe choir, the opening hymn being 'Nearer My God To Thee." Prayer was oiiered b'y Elder John Carter, dinging '-weet Hour Of Prayer," conducted by J. M. Boyden. Bishop II. C. Jacobs praised the character of Mr. Malison in assisting the Ward. Mrs1. Emma Anderson rendered a voc'al solo and Pres. C. N. Lund gave timely remarks praising the man for being a good citizen aud a true character. char-acter. The choir sang "Jesus Lover Of My Soul" and Bishop Daniel RaS-mussen RaS-mussen closed the services. A large number of people attended the funeral. fun-eral. Mr. Matson was born in Sweden April 30th, 1859. He came to Utah in 1ST5 and was married to Josephine Jose-phine Anderson in 18S4. He leaves a widow and a brother, Peter Mat-json. |
