Show A NOTED JERSEY SIRE Phillis Dauncy, No. 71,314 was purchased this week by Emil Hasler. Dauncey was formerly at the head of Wm. D. Livingston's Jersey herd at Manti. His Dam has a record of 22 lbs. of butter per week and his Grand Dam a record of 2 3 lbs. of butter per week. Prof. John T. Cain of the Agricultural College said he was one of the best Jersey Sires in the state of Utah. He will be kept on the ranch east of Mount Pleasant. The Mt. Pleasant North Ward Primary Association is making preparations pre-parations for a May Day celebration to be given at the Opera House about the 15th of May. Louise Madsen and Olea Wall have been chosen to act as May Queens on this occasion. The party has been planned especially es-pecially for little folks, but parents are invited to come. Tickets will be 10 cents to see the braiding of the May Pole. |
