Lewis Mills went to Eureka this week where he has employment. Floral offerings were many and beautiful. Philip H. Hurst, lately of Mexico, was a Fan-view visitor last week. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lamb and Mrs. Lizzie Lamb, of Wales, were Fair-view Fair-view visitors this week. Dr. Arthur Vane of Provo is a business visitor at Fairview this iveek. He will return home Sunday. Martin Nordstrom came home from Idaho last week to pay his parents par-ents a short visit. Mrs. David Olson of Manti visited her daughter, Miss CUeo Olson, of the public school faculty, last week. Master Leland Carter of Provo visited with his sister, Miss Vera Carter, Car-ter, of the Public School Faculty, last week. Mrs. Chas. Tucker left for Idaho, Monday, where she goes to join her husband. They will make their home in Idaho for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Will Blanchett or Sunnycide are in Fairview, having been caled here by the death of Mrs. Blanchett's father, Andrew Madsen. Mrs. Fred Olson, who wan operated operat-ed upon at the L. D, S. Hospital last week is .reported doing as well as ,;an bo expected. The Fairview Literary Club met at the home of Mrs. Swell O. Nielson. An invitation meeting was held. Dainty refreshments were served, after af-ter which they went aulo riding. r Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bushman, Jr. .vent to Li-hi last, week to attend the funeral of Mr. Bushman's nephew, who was killed by falling under a train. Anderson, Hebcr Olsen and Bishop Hansen were the speakers who offered consoling con-soling remarks to the bereaved parents par-ents and relatives. The school May Day will be held May eighth. Miss Goldie Terry is the Queen with Pearl Christensen and Allie Peterson as attendants. There will be games and sports of all kinds at the park for the children. At two o'clock a childrfns dance will be held in the Pavilion and sixteen small girls will braid the May Pole, it will also be repeated in the danco lu the evening. Everjuudy is invited to turn out and make the day a success. They will havo lunch in the Park and a ball game in the afternoon after-noon at four o'clock. Mr. Andrew Madsen,. Sr. died at his home in Fairview on May first. Mr. Madsen has been In poor health lor some time having had a stroke tbout eighteen months ago. He was seventy five years old and has lived in Fairview about forty years. Denmark Den-mark was his native country. He leaves one son and tfirce daughters, having been a widower for a number of years. Funeral services were, held May 4th. ('. K. Hansen, H. W.
