Show Mr. and Mrs. Eil Johnston were in Halt Lake C'ily to attend the fourteenth four-teenth Annual Convention of the Utah Pharmaceutical Association held at the Hotel Utah, Salt Lake City, June 17th and 18th. There was eighty five per cent of the membership mem-bership of the association present. At present they have 300 members. Much pood anil pleasure was derived from t lie convention. Mr. Johnson was the only representative of Sanpete San-pete County in attendance. P. C. Meiling of Payson is in Mt. Pleasant this week visiting with relatives rel-atives and friends. ' He has just late ly sold his 8 0 acre farm near Payson and is now spending a retired farmer's far-mer's life. Mr. Meiling was a former for-mer resident of Mt. Pleasant and engaged en-gaged in agricultural pursuits in this vicinity. Mr. Meiling has a beautiful beauti-ful home at Payson and also ten acres of land in a very productive district. He will continue to make his home at that place. Miss Goldie Neilson went to Salt Lake City Monday to attend the wedding wed-ding of Miss Lavona Golding of Salt Lake who was married on Wednesday. Wednes-day. F. C. Jensen was a business visitor in Salt Lake this week. |
