Show Home Echonomlcs Club Begin Their Work ; The Home Economics meeting S held Wednesday afternoon at the 5 North Ward meeting house was well attended and much good was de- j rived therefrom. ! Dr. J. C. Stocks lectured on "Safe- ; guarding the Eyesight of Children." Mrs. Mina Sorenson spoke of Nu-I Nu-I trition of Children and a discussion followed by a number of people. Miss Ida Merz and Kenneth Roy- 5 lance gave two musical selections and ss the meeting was brought to a close.. s, Home Economics meetings will be held regularly in this city and all la- ; dies are invited to become members of the club without charge. It will i undoubtedly be of much good to the f ladies in this city and should receive J much encouragement. !. The Democratic County Committee I and the Progressive County Commit- I tee met at the Commercial Club rooms in this city last Saturday after- ;S noon and united forces for the com- i ing campaign. The two parties in the county will I follow a similar plan to that which I was outlined by the'State Convention ; held at Salt Lake a short time ago. j The County Convention will be ; held about the middle of July and it ; is very probable that Mt. Pleasant ; will be the place selected by the two parties for their meetings on j this occasion. i : |
