The twu men were hauling lumber to Spring City and had only gone a shoit distance from the mill when i the siide caught ihem. It is evident that Mr. Lar?on was soon smothered to death in the snow bsing found with his he: d downwa d his feet being only about one fo:t under the surface. Mr. Clawson was caught by a heavy chain around the neck and pinned undr the neckyoke his head was under the snow a foot. The plac3 where he lay showed signs of a great struggle fir liberty.
