Orson Acord of Spring City is making improvements on his hotel which will enable him to accommodate accommo-date his customers better than he has been able to heretofore. He has made a new addition on the rear of the building and is also adding a new porch on the front. With the extra rooms thus added he will have a very commodious place for the public. Niels H. Burresen, who has been ill at his home in Spring City for about eight months is improving. Mr. Burresen is S7 years old and has the distinction of being the man who first planted an apple tree in Mount Pleasant. He came to Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant in the year 1859 and engaged in the milling business with Mr. Fech-ser. Fech-ser. In the year of 1861 he moved to Spring City where he has resided and made his home. For many years he was Spring City's leading miller. Jens Christensen is ill at his home in Spring City with another attack of rheumatism. He has been confined con-fined indoors for about six weeks, but is improving at present. Lawrence Olsen of Spring City and Miss Green of Mona were married in the Manti temple last Wednesday June 25th. Mrs. Chas. Zabriskie went to Twin Falls last week after spending a short visit with relatives in this city. Upon Up-on her return from the Gem state she went to her home at Eureka. One of Frank Crawforth's farms was sold last week and he and his family moved to Idaho to make their future home. It is with regret that their many friends of Spring City are to lose their neighbors. Wesley Beck sold his home last week to James F. Ellis and moved with his family to Rupert, Idaho to make their future home. The consideration con-sideration of the property was in the neighborhood of $1500. Miss Mabel Hansen has just returned re-turned from Salt Lake City. The people of Spring City are very favorable to the movement now on foot for the building or laying of new cement sidewalks on Main Street. They are beginning to realize what a great benefit it would be to have clean dry walks in their little city.
