Show ii ii SANPETE IS LEFT OUT It is with much regret and disappointment that the people of Sanpete County were not recognized at the recent State Convention of the Republican larty held at Salt Lake City m which Congressman Jacob Johnson failed to get the nomination nomi-nation for reelection to the United States Congress. Congressman Jacob Johnson has been a busy and useful man in the House of Representatives Representa-tives during his term of office md he deserved to be renominated renomi-nated for the position which he has so faithfully filled. The delegation from Sanpete County Coun-ty were loyal to their candidate, candi-date, but Salt Lake people seemed to want to shut us out lesiring to bring the laurels of election day to the Northern part of the state which has had it so long. Although some of the city L'olks feel that they are entitled t o all there is in store, the country coun-try people are aware of the .'act that the farmers are the very backbone upon which the .ities subsist. And they feel that Sanpete County is possessed pos-sessed of as good material as is found in other places. The result re-sult of such actions may prove i disappointment. |
