Show V. J. Lynch, Secretary of the State Land Board, .-.Hh R. H. Peal, a prominent land merchant and A. G. Tumbaugh of Salt Lake City came to Mt. Pleasant Saturday to pay a visit with W. D. C'andland, president of the State Land Board. While here the three distinguished gentlemen were supplied with a camping outfit and plenty of provisions by Mr. Cand- land and the party being desirous of killing a few hears to take back to the city ascended the rocky slopes; and ledges east of C'andland's ranch Sunday morning and started for the hunt. While going over some rough country Lynch caught his foot be-'iween be-'iween two rocks and sprained his ! ankle. The accident caused an end ;o the hunt and the gentlemen had to return without bruin. Mr. Lynch lias been compelled to remain nuie over sinc e. He was unable to go on the southern trip with Mr. Candland 'end he returned to Salt Lake City. r |
