Show Farmers' Round-Up and Housekeepers, Conference The Greatest Two Weeks of Utah's Year. Final arrangements have now been made by the officials of the Agricultural Agricul-tural College for the big annual Farmers' Round-up and Housekeepers' Housekeep-ers' Conference which meets at Logan Lo-gan Monday, January 27th, and extends ex-tends over to Feb. 8th. The program pro-gram as arranged this year appears to be much more comprehensi ve than has characterized the gatherings in he past. Separate days have been set apart for the discussion of spec-Ac spec-Ac phases of the work and while space will not permit the publication of the program throughout the summary sum-mary published below will give the reader a general idea of the subjects that are to be discussed during the big gathering at Logan. The morning of the first day will be a general get acquainted session and after an irrigation meeting in the afternoon, an evening musical concert will be given consisting of solos and selections by the band and glee club. Among the days set apart are irri gation day, Jan. 28th, better wheat day. Jan. 29th, sugar beet day, Jan. 30th, good road3day, Jan. 31st, marketing mar-keting day, Feb. 1st, general day, Feb. 3rd, woolgrowers' day, Feb. 4th, dairymen's day, Feb. 5th, meat cutting day, Feb. 6th, hprsemen's day, Feb, 7th, and the last day Feb. 8th, will be devoted to the matters of.stock and swine breeding. In addition to this special packing school will be conducted from Feb. 3rd to 8th which will be presided over ov-er by Mr. Castler an authority of national repute along this line. Also Mr. W. C. Walker of Sacramento, Cal., will be present at the conference confer-ence and will give an account of the manner in which the fruit crop is marketed in that state. It it sufficient to suggest that every ev-ery live man and woman in the State who is able should be present at this Round-up and Housekeepers' Con ference. |
