Thursday evening a socijd was giv en in the Eclipse pavilion by the relatives rel-atives and friends of Davd Sanderson Sander-son who left for a mission to the Eastern States Sunday. Saturday evening a house-warming party was given by Mr: and Mrs. Nephi Cruser at their new home. Those present wra Mr.. Mrs. E. Cheney, Mr. nr1 -nH Mrs. S. 0. Nielson, Mr. ai Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Graham, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Cartil age, Mr. and Mrs. William Christensen, Christen-sen, Mr. and Mrs. J"hn Carlston. Mr. and Mrs. A. U. Miner, Mr. and Mrs. H. DeFries, Mrs. Louisa Sand erson, Mrs. Sadie Johnson, Mrs. Dora Carlston, and the host and hostess. The evening was spent in playing games, music and story-telling. Dr-licious Dr-licious refreshments were served. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Turpin entertained a number of friends. An excellent supper was served, after which the evening was spent in garpes and socia. chat. Those present were Messrs and Mes-dames Mes-dames John Vance, Oscar Norman, H. DeFries, E. Cheney, A. U. Miner, Dr. Earle, Mrs. Vernie. Bohne, and the host and hostess. On tht evening of Jan. 12th. a party was given at the home of Miss Vera D, Fries. About twenty-five young people were present. The evening was spent in playing games, singing, and music. After the Sabbath Sab-bath was over an hour was spent in dancing. Monday evening the officers of the Mutuals gave a pleasant surprise to Miss Hazel DeFries at her home. A very enjoyable evening was spent. H. DeFries and family leave this week for Phoenix, Arizona, , where they expect to make their home. Mrs. Dora Carlston of Ephraim is spending the week with relatives. Mr and Mrs. Swen O. Nielson ar Slt Lake visitors this week. Mrs. Fred Danidson nas so far n CuVt-red that she is ab e to leave the hospital.
