Show I SPRING CITY 1 By Special Correspondence I Mrs. Helen Jensen was hostess Thursday evening to members of the K. K. club at her home in Spring City. Rook was played and prizes were won by Mrs. Neva Dye , who received first; Miss Murl Covert won second, and Mrs. Maud Downard was a-warded a-warded third prize. A delightful luncheon was served. Mrs. Mary Jensen, Mrs. Hazel Covert and Miss Murl Covert were special guests. Daughters of Utah Pioneers of Sanpete county held their convention con-vention at Spring City last Saturday. Sat-urday. Luncheon was served to the visiting ladies. Mrs. Maud Downard was hostess host-ess to a number of friends at a birthday dinner given at her home in Spring City. Sergeant and Mrs. Heinz Larsen Lar-sen left Sunday for Battle Creek, Michigan after a week's furlough and visit with his relatives and friends at Spring City. They were accompanied as faT as Salt Lake City by Mrs. Lloyd Keyes and daughter, Colleen of Ogden, who also had visited here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jensen. Jen-sen. Archie Barney of Provo is spending this week with Spring City relatives. Angus Black walks about on cruches as a result of an accident last Friday when a horse he was riding fell with him and landing on one of his legs. No bones, however, are broken. Mrs. Ross Allred has gone to Salt Lake City to visit with her children before going to her home in Los Angeles, California. Mr. and Mrs. Reees Bradley of Moroni were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs Theron Madsen in Spring City. Mrs. Lizzie B. Allred has gone to Salt Lake City to make her home with her grandson, Milton E. Allred and family. Miss Roxey Bradley of Moroni is here visiting with her sister, Mrs. Theron Madsen and family. |
