Show Navy Seabees To Organize The "Can Do" Seabees who amazed everyone In the foreward areas by building airfields and advanced bases almost over night will find their place in the Naval Reserve under the comprehensive com-prehensive plan for the Civil Engineering En-gineering Corps Personnel, announced an-nounced Lt. P. Veltri, Officer in charge of the local Navy Recruiting Recruit-ing Station here today. CEC Reserve units will be set up in any locality where 15 or more CEC personnel wish to participate par-ticipate in the program. Monthly seminars will be held to keen atuvast of developments in Navy ashore construction. These seminars semi-nars will be the panning for "Campaigns", as was done during dur-ing war time, Lt. Veltri said. Extension courses in such subjects sub-jects os soil mechanics, international interna-tional law, and nucular physics will be available as well as engineering en-gineering courses conducted by the Marine Corps and the Navy, Lt. Veltri explained. |
