Day their son, Robert and children, Eliza Merl and Nathan Conrad of Eureka, Eu-reka, California; Mr. and Mrs Arthur Day and family and the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs George N. Day and family of Fairview. Mrs. Day's sister, Mrs. Ellis Wilcox and her son, Trueman and wife and two children were present. The group were entertained by a fine musical program given by family members. Mrs. Day, who is now S5 years of age., has 116 descendants, 107 of whom are living. Mrs. Dora Coombs, Jacobs baby boy being her latest descendant. Mrs. "Ellis D. Coombs was the happy recipient of one dozen American Beauty roses Wednesday Wednes-day morning from the Vera Keene radio program which broadcasts for the Paris Company Com-pany over station KUTA each week day. Each day one dozen American Beauty roses are a-warded a-warded to the writer of the letter read requesting a favorite tune be played. Mrs. Coombs' daughter, daugh-ter, Esther C. Durfey, Bicknell was the writer of the letter honoring hon-oring her mother for teaching her that the end of each day lived right was the end of a perfect day. She rejuested her favorite song, "The End of a Perfect Day." be played and that the roses be sent to her mother if her letter was used. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lasson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lasson, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Cheney went to Spanish Span-ish Fork Tuesday evening to attend at-tend the wedding of Oleah Lasson, Las-son, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lasson of Birdseye, Utah, who was married August 26th in the Salt Lake Temple to Rex L. Hurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul O. Hurst, of Payson. Mrs. Beth Seibert left last week for Burbank, California where she will make her home, Her husband, Richard Seibert is employed em-ployed there. Hananh Howell and Philindia Turpin spent the past week at Logan at the U.S.A.C steaming up for a good school lunch. They received courses in theory and demonstrations on schoo lunch equipment, general school lunch reporting requirements, nutrititional value and planning the school lunch hour, marketing and meal preparations, etc Thev are looking forward to an outstanding school lunch year Mr. and Mrs. George Usher and daughter, Carol Jane of San Di-eeo Di-eeo California are visiting at the' home of Mr. and Mrs. Lew Peterson.
