Popular Dance Artist Will Maw Wales Man Engagement of a popular member of Mt. Pleasant's younger set was made known this week when Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Nelson announced the engagement of their daughter, Roxey, to Ralph Washburn of Wales. ; Well known for her activity in dancing circles, Miss Nelson spent the past school year as a teacher at the Hamilton school. She is a graduate of North Sanpete high school and attended at-tended Brigham Young university univer-sity where she was affiliated with Altamira social unit. ' An active worker in the MIA, Miss Nelson was this spring presented with the Golden Gleaner Award, highest honor that can come to a member of . the Gleaner organization. I The groom-to-be is in the farming business at Wales and is a son of A. L. Washburn. He is a graduate of Moroni high school. The couple will make a home at Wales following their wedding wed-ding at the Nelson residence i-riday, August 6. |
