Show Exceptional Occurrence A contractor in Livingston, Montana, has been sentenced to two years in prison for using a veteran to buy surplus Army trucks and Robert M. Littlejohn, War Assets Administrator, says that the Agency will intensify its drive against "unscrupulous business men." We call attention to the reported re-ported -conviction of the Montana Mon-tana contractor because it represents rep-resents one of the rare instances in which a business man has been sentenced to prison for violating vi-olating a law in the course of "business." The big business leaders ot the country know that they can violate the anti-trust act and make millions of dollars without with-out expecting more than a fine, if they are convicted. Meanwhile, Mean-while, they can use their ill-gotten ill-gotten gain for the purpose of fighting the case in court, with the firm belief that few of them will ever be convicted. |
