Show I FAIBVIEW I ' By Special Correspondence Sergeant Allen J. Brady, son of Mrs. Laura Brady, has received re-ceived his honorable discharge from the Army. He entered the service September 10, 1945, and trained at Camp Roberts and Camp Ord, California. He was jthen transferred to Fort Richardson, Rich-ardson, Anchorage, Alaska, where he served for about ten months. He received his discharge dis-charge November 20 at Camp Beale, California. A party was held Friday evening eve-ning in the North ward chapel by the Fairview North L. D. S. ward to welcome the Indianola branch into their ward. The program pro-gram was as follows: song by congregation, "America"; prayer, pray-er, Keith . Hanson; remarks, Bishop S. V. Peterson; master of ceremonies, Ted Mower; vocal duet, Ellen Peterson and Marion Tucker, accompanied by Alta Osborne; violin solo, Merrill Day, accompanied by Ida Day; vocal duet, Reva and Virginia Jensen, accompanied by Anna Jensen; reading, Beth Carlston; piano solo, Edward Bench; vocal vo-cal solo, Whitford Amundsen-vocal Amundsen-vocal duet, Georgia Shepherd and Arthur Day; saxophone solo, Earl Brady; reading, Jessie See-ly; See-ly; piano duet, Rosalin Carlston Carl-ston and Sonya Carlston; vocal solo, Bud Bigler; vocal duet, Patsy Jones and Winnie Vance; harmonica medley, Arthur Day; vocal solo, Mary Larson; violin solo, Alvin Brady. The remainder remain-der of the evening was spent in dancing. Refreshments wer.e served. Officers of the newly organ-. organ-. ized Fairview chapter, Utah Junior Chamber of Commerce, will be elected December 4 at a meeting in the City hall, it was announced Monday. Technical ' Sergeant Duane Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Cy-rus Jensen, has received his honorable discharge from the Army. He entered the service March 18, 1945 and trained at Shepherd Field, Texas. He served serv-ed overseas in Japan and received re-ceived his discharge November 18 at Fort Douglas, Salt Lake. P.F.C. Don Terry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Terry, has received re-ceived his honorable discharge from the Army. He entered the service July 10, 1945 and received receiv-ed his basic training at Camp Roberts, California. From there he went to Ford Ord, California, Fort Misoula, Montana, Rupert, Idaho, and Fort Douglas, Utah. He received his discharge No-vember No-vember 24 at Fort Douglas. Mr and Mrs. Arthur Tucker and baby of Provo spent the weekend visting here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Valton Tucker The Fairview American Legion Post sponsored boxing. bouts on Monday evening in the F. J. H gymnasium. The proceeds will be used for a serviceman s ban- qUMr's. Sanoma Vance entertained entertain-ed her Bridge club Thursday evening. Score prizes were won bv Cora Johnson and Jeroma Madsen.
