Show SPRING CITY By Special Correspondence j Mrs. Irvine Smith has as her guests Mrs. Ceciel Anderson and daughter, Beverly and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Wilde of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Richard Nelson of Cedar City was here last week for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Larsen. Ferrel M. Sorensen and family of Provo were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Sorensen. Corporal Carlan Blain was here on furlough from Camp Adair, Oregon. He was acompanied by Alton Blain of Ogden, who visited vis-ited with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Thompson and other Spring City relatives a few days leaving here on Wednesday. Frank Acord and family came to Spring City from Ogden to spend Sunday with their relatives rela-tives here. Mrs. H. E. Raddatz of Orem is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Blain. Mr. and Mrs. Marsden Allred have gone to Denver, Colorado where Mrs. Allred's sister, Mrs. Marry Suckford has suffered injuries in-juries to her back in a fall at her home in that city. Floyd Rrough and family of Tooele is spending a few days visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brough at Spring City. Delbert Pedersen was here on a short furlough from California to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. Pedersen. Mrs. Delbert Pedersen accompanied him from Beaver where she is making her home. A cloud of gloom and sadness was cast over this community vyhen it was made known Monday Mon-day morning of the death of Nell Allred Nyberg, wife of Gilbert Nyberg, who passed away Sunday Sun-day evening at a Salt Lake hospital. hos-pital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday in the Spring City ward chapel. |
