Show Fairview J opics ... Excitedly preparing tor a wedding wed-ding this week was the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl L. Hanley of Fairview, Miss Bonnie Knight, who will become the bride of Arco Poloni of Wellington, Utah, next Monday. The groom-to-be is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Poloni of Wellington. The wedding ceremonies will be performed at the home of the bride's parents Monday at 4 p. m. Mrs. Crystal Brady announces the engagement of her daughter Lola to Gordon W. Bailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Bailey of Nephi. Miss Brady has completed txxo years of study at the University Uni-versity of Utah and is a member mem-ber of the Lambda Delta Sigma. Mr. Bailey, a graduate of the University of Utah in the field of Electrical Engineering, was a member of Pau Beta Phi, an honorary engineering fraternity. A.I.E.E., and'Pheta Pau. While attending B. Y. U. he was a member of Lambda Delta Sigma. Sig-ma. Mr. Bailey will depart September 15 for Fort Wayne. Indiana, where he will be employed em-ployed by the General Electric company. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson were happily surprised by their ! daughter Mrs. Mirl J. Clark and her sons, Gall and Kent paying : them a visit, spending four enjoyable en-joyable weeks together, xvith her husband, Joe Clark, joining them in Fairview (he last two days. They have now returned to their home in Medford, Oregon, Ore-gon, here Mr. Clark is employed as a music instructor. While here they were dinner guests of Mrs. Clark's sisters. Mrs. Alva Clement, Mrs. Wil-i Wil-i Ham E. Rigby, Mrs. Merlin H. i Madsen and Mrs. Howard W. Rigby of Fairview and Mrs. Warren Warren P. Shepherd of Mt. Pleasant.
