MORONI !; ' By Mrs. Heber Christensen (continued from front page) Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Bradley Anderson of Salt Lake city were held in Salt Lake city last Friday, after which the remains were brought to Moroni Mo-roni and taken to the home of her brother, Andrew L. Bradley. Funeral services were held on Saturday in Moroni West ward chapel at 2 p. m. with Bishop Ray McKinnon conducting. The prayers were offered by Jabez Faux and Soren C. Xiei-son Xiei-son and the speakers were X. P. Soienson and Bishop Ephraim Nelson, both of whom paid beautiful tribute to her life and character. A vocal solo, "In My Fathers House Are Many Mansions" was sung by Don Bradley of Provo. His accompanist was Mrs. Bradley, his wife. Mrs. Grace Westenskow sang the solo, "Beloved, 'Tis Eventide" with Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes as accompanist. The combined East and West wards choir furnished fur-nished two numbers with Mrs. Florence Christensen, director, and Mrs. Lyda Christensen at the organ. The many beautiful floral offerings and the larg-; number in attendance was an evidence of the love and esteem es-teem and high resrxct in which the family is held. Interment was in Moroni cemetery under direction of the Jacobs Mortuary of Mt. Pleasant. The pallbearers were Bard Blackham, Perry Blackham, Gerald Bradley, Max Bradley, Phil Bradley and Don Bradley. The grave was dedicated by Eieglow Bradley of Provo. Mrs. Anderson, who was marred mar-red to Ephraim D. Anderson, died Thursday at 8:30 p. m. at the family residence. She was born in Moroni. June 2'J, 1801, a daughter of Andrew L. and Elsie M. Larsen Bradley. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was active in the Relief Society and as a stake missionary. She was a former bookkeeper 'A the Peoples Sugar Company of Moroni. She is survived by her husband hus-band and two sons, Lieut. Elliotl B. Anderson of Unitw) States Air Forces; Truman K. Anderson, Los Anceles; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Blarkharn, Moroni and Mrs. Glen Donaldson, Spring City; three brothers, A. L. Bradley Brad-ley Jr., Moroni; Frank Bradley, Salt Lake city; Kif;How FJradley, Provo, and nine (randr hildr n. Mr. and Mrs. LaWII Dastrup and daughter Ann of Oi;den are f.pendinj; a week with their mother, Mrs. Maty Draper. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dastrup and baby of Ogden also spent last weekend with Mrs. Draper. They were very happy and surprised last week when they chanced to meet Allen Irons of Moroni,, who is laboring there as an L. D. S. missionary. They spent some time in chat-ting chat-ting about the folks and friends at home and no doubt will meet again often. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Coombs sold their Moroni home recently to Orland Dyches, who sold his home to his brother, Dean Dyches. Mr. and Mrs. Coombs have purchased a home in Santaquin. Mrs. Coombs and children visited vis-ited here for two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Livingston have rented part of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Hardy and moved in last week. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Curtis and family of Salt Lake city are spending this week with relatives and friends here. A large number of Moroni people enjoyed the Lamb Day celebration at Fountain Green last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Morley, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Morley, Glade, Deanna, Connie and Sandra Morley motored tc Salt Lake to spend the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Val Daniels. Mrs. Daniels is the former Verdean Morley. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Blackham have just returned from a weeks trip to Yellowstone Park. They were accompanied by her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Syme of Salt Lake city. On their return to Moroni, Miss Gloria Syme, Doyle and Gaylin Syme, came with them to enjoy a few days visit here. Mrs. Maria J. Morley returned last week from Spokane, Washington Wash-ington and Portland, Oregon, where she has been visiting this summer. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Luke and daughters Virginia and Ellen Luke and Janet Morley of Provo have spent the weekend with Mrs. Maria J. Morley and Mr. and Mrs. Urwin Morley. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Hiller of Salt Lake city are visiting with Mrs. Leona Irons and family. The following are enjoying a weeks trip to Yellowstone Park: Mr. and Mrs. Mack Morley, Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Jensen. Mr. and !
