Show State Plans First Annual Turkey Show, Wednesday, November 17th A big boost to Utah's turke industry is seen in the first annual an-nual Utah Turkey Show, to be held in Provo. November 17, IS and 19, according to Stanley C Farnsworth, show manager. As the show date nears, turkey growers and breeders are urgou to make their entries befor; November No-vember 7, the closing date. Entries are coming in from a number of Western states, including in-cluding Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Ore-gon, and California, as well a; Utah. Competition will be in two divisions for live birds, and two divisions for dressed birds, so that commercial producers will not have to compete with professional breeders. A fifth classification open to packers and processors will exhibit the ; latest styles in packing methods i Free copies of the premium list and show program can be had on request. Harvey Griffin, nationally ree- j ognized turkey breeder and show-judge, show-judge, has been engaged to serve as a judge. Suitable cash prizes and trophies tro-phies will be offered in all rii ! visions.
