Mrs. Milton Oldroyd and child-; ren of Provo visited Sunday with Mrs. Oldroyd's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Holman. j Mrs. Sarah E. Allred has returned re-turned home after having spent the past winter with her daugh-.er, daugh-.er, Mrs. Ercel Olsen of Monroe. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Andrews of Nephi have purchased the N. C. jfcnsen home. At a Republican Primary held j.n Fountain Green City hall April -0 1940 the following delegates were nominated to attend the Republican County convention in Manti April 27, 1940: District No. 1, Osmond Crow-ther, Crow-ther, N. M. Jensen, Edward M. ,nanstn and John E. Aagard. District No. 2, Virgil Jacobsen, James L. Nielson, George E. Cook and Clark Cook. Alternates R. A. Pearmain and Alvin Jackson. Also at the above uamed Primary the following district oificers for District 1 and - were elected. District No. 2 C. S. Jensen and Edward M. Hansen. James Holman is seriously ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elmer Carter. Mrs. Ruby Stringham of Salt Lake City is visiting with her -arents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Allred. Warren M. Holman Dies Al Fountain Green Warren M. Holman, 68, prominent promin-ent wool and stock grower, died at the family home at an early nour Saturday after a lingering illness. Mr. Holman was born in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove April 29, 1871. His parents, James A. and Sarah Mathis Holman, were early Utah pioneers. He was married in the Manti L. D. S. temple July 7, 1897, to Ellen Jackson of Fountain Foun-tain Green. He was an active L. D. S. church worker and a member of the high priests' quorum. Surviving are his widow and eight sons and daughters: Mrs. Nicoline Mikkelsen, Burton, John K, George, Glen and Emery Holman Hol-man of Fountain Green, Mrs. Zola Ahlen of Santaquin and Farreld Holman of Salt Lake City; 2b grandchildren, and the following orothers and sisters: Ray and Parley T. Holman of Fountain Green; James I. Holman of Brig-nam Brig-nam City; Robert Holman and Mrs. Joseph Hoggins of Beat-River Beat-River City, and Mrs. Nancy Lowe of Beaver. Funeral services for Mr. Holman Hol-man were held in the ward chapel Tuesday, April 2J at 2 p. m. with Averill Larson conducting. The choir numbers were, "Farewell All Earthly Honors", "O My Father" and "Lead Me Gently Home Father". Prayers were offered by President Presi-dent Joseph R. Christensen and George E. Cook. Speakers were John E. Aagard, Mathias Allred, Oie A. Allred and Averill Larson. Special musical numbers were, a vocal solo by Eddie Hansen accompanied ac-companied by Stella Mayer at the piano and Hanna Ivory at the cello. A vocal trio, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" by Olena Johnson, Lillian Snow and Jennie Anderson Ander-son with Geraldine Johnson as accompanist. An instrumental trio, "A Per-i'ect Per-i'ect Day" by Mabel Oldroyd, Kanna Ivory and Stella Mayer. Interment was in the city cemetery ceme-tery under the direction of the Ursenbach mortuary. Graveside prayer was offered by Henry Jackson of Provo.
