On Monday Mr. and Mrs Koger Hansen met Mr. Hansen's brother, Donald Hansen of Oklahoma Ok-lahoma City, Oklahoma, in Thistle. The three went on to Salt Lake city, and that evening Donald Hansen continued his trip to California. Rev. and Mrs. Gregory Reid and son Douglas took Mr. Reid's grandmother, Mrs. Lou S. Harvey Har-vey of San Jose, California, to Salt Lake city last Friday. Bs-fore Bs-fore returning to her home, Mrs. Havey plans to visit relatives in Idaho. Elsers Are Parents Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Elser, former Wasatch Academy faculty fac-ulty members, have announced the birth of a daughter, Kathryn Elizabeht, on Oct. 20 in San Anselmo, Calif. Dr. Briant S. Jacobs of Provo visited with his father,. II. C. Jacobs, over the weekend. On Sunday there was a family dinner din-ner given in Richfield by Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Buchanan which was attended by Mr. Jacobs, Dr. Jacobs and his family, fam-ily, and Mr. and Mrs. H. Chariton Chari-ton Jacobs. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Jensen and daughter of Torrance, Calif., are visiting for a few weeks with their mother, Mrs. Venetta Jensen. Jen-sen. Mrs. J. R. Bagnall entertained at dinner for family and friends Sunday on the occasion of her husband's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin T. Wallace Wal-lace and son of Salt Lake were weekend guests of the Bagnalls. Mrs. John Stansfield will be hostess to the O. S. A. club Friday afternoon. Mrs. Anthon Madsen will leave soon for Salt Lake where she will visit with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Lew Mar Andersen, until un-til Mrs. Andersen leaves for Japan to join her husband. Word has been received by Mrs. C. T. Madsen that her sister, sis-ter, "Mrs. Bertha S. Jessen, is recovering from an operation in an Idaho Falls hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Synder-gaard Synder-gaard returned this week from a three weeks vacation in Wyoming Wy-oming and Montana. Mr. and Mrs. V. A. Smith left Thursday to make a home in Barstow, Calif. Mrs. Smith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Peel. The Smiths formerly made their home in Shelby, Montana. Miss Ruth Ann Christensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.
