Show Fairview Amanda Jones Is Ninety-Five Mrs Amanda Jones celebrated her ibth birthday Friday, CM -1- She is still quite active' doing light household tasks and knitting beautiful lace. She enjoys visiting very much. Mrs. Jones is the mother of seven children, three of whom are living, Mrs. Malissa Mower and Henry W. Jones of this city and Calvin S. Jones of Salt Lake city. She has 26 grandchildren, grand-children, 66 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Fifty friends and relatives called during the day to wish her happy birthday. She also recevied many greeting cards from out-of-town. Sunday a radio program by Jennie Anderson over an Ogden station, was dedictaed to her. Weekend vititors at the home or L.. L.. banaerson were Mrs. J. E. Gain, Arch Christensen, Tom Christensen and son Tommie of Salt Lake city, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Madsen, daughters Janet Jan-et and Margaret of Provo, also Mr. and Mrs. Grant Sanderson and Sydnee Sanderson of Salt Lake, who are attending the U. Miss Anna Sundwall is visiting visit-ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sundawall at Fairview. During the past two years she has been employed with the Illinois Children's Home and Aid Society in Chicago. She has now accepted a position with the Washngton State Department of Public Welfare. Jex of Spanish Fork and Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dewey of Salt Lake city. The Deer Hunters ball held Friday night as a big success. It was sponsored by the J. C.'s with the president, Edwin Miner in charge and Ted Mower in charge of the prizes. The grand prize was a 30-30 rifle won by Harry Zabriskie. The "Talk of the Town" orchestra orches-tra of Provo furnished the music. mu-sic. Fairview South Ward Primary-held Primary-held their study meeting at the home of Elsie Christensen Thursday evening. The teacher teach-er trainer lesson was given by Jane "Brinton. Those present were Arminta Clement, Lucille Madsen, Eda Anderson, Ila Jensen, Violet Larsen, May Miner, Mi-ner, Agatha Graham, Hortense Hansen and Luella Johnson. Light refreshments were served. Colleen Johnsen and baby visited vis-ited over the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jensen. Their daughter Reva is home from a Salt Lake hospital and is much improved. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs. Cyrus Jensen were Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Terry of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Duane C. Jensen of Provo, Mr. . and Mrs. Ted Thorn and family of Sprmg-ville. Sprmg-ville. Mr and Mrs. Howard Rigby spent Sunday in Provo with Cleston Rigby and family. Mr. and Mrs. James P. Larsen have moved to Ogden. Carolyn Madsen, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Albert Madsen. and Lois Tucker of Cedar City students at BYU, were at the Madsen home tor the weekend. Mrs Hazel K. Nielsen has spfnt the past week with her husband, Lt Carl E. Nielsen in El Paso, Texas. They also visited vis-ited Old Mexico.
