Show LOCAL CCC NOTES The local CCC basketball team, resplendent in new uniforms was badly outclassed by the quintet from the Wasatch last Wednesday by a one sided score of 46 to 4. The camp is saddened by the news that Mr. Paul J. O'Connell left last Monday where he will resume his duties as commanding officer at the Hubbard ranch camp near Wells, Nevada. We offer our best wishes and continued con-tinued success. Mr. O'Connell is being replaced replac-ed by Mr. O'Shea, at present commanding com-manding the Twin Bridge camp. The educational program of this company began functioning anew last Monday with the participation par-ticipation exceding even optom-stic optom-stic predictions. The present pro-g pro-g r a nt includes seventy-one courses to which more will undoubtedly un-doubtedly be added in the near future. The executive personnel of CCC company 3G89 wish to express ex-press their gratitude to Mr. Bagnall, Mr. Bench and Dr. Farnsworth for their cooperation in making it possible for certain ' men of this camp to continue their high school education. |
