Show Pretty Wedding- Held At Simpson Home An interesting nuptial event took place Wednesday evening at ihj heme of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Simpson when their daughter Grace Elaine was united in marriage mar-riage to Mr. Clarence G. Wilson c' Nephi in the presence of the immediate families. The bridal' couple stood beneath a Li w er of roses. Th2 bride was cha: ming in a beautiful gown of lace ever white satin, with .in enveloping en-veloping veil and train of net. and lace. She carr ed a bouquet ol roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Simpson, sister of the bride, and Miss Leona Kidman of Salt lake City. Donna Simpson and Enid Pritchett were flower girls and Frank Wlson, brother cf the groom acted as b:st man. Following the ceremony dinner was serx'ed in the dining hail of the Johns gymnasium The guests were seated at one long table, centered cen-tered with a larg? pink and white weddmg cake hoiding a miniature br de and groom. The hall was decorated with varicolored garden flow e: s Mrs. Wilson is a gTaduate of North Sanpete high school and a foimer student of Brigham Young Umxersity. For the past twi years she has been a member of the Hamilton School faculty. Mr Wilscn is a graduate of the B. Y. U. On July 30th the newlyweds left fcr a honeymoon trip to the Pacific Pa-cific coast and wll return by way of Boulder Dam, Grand Cnnycn and the canyons of southern Utah. After September first they vill be at home at Coalville, Utah, where Mr. Wilson is employed as a t?acher in the liigh schcol. Mi 3. Grant Olsen entertained at a miscellaneous shower at her home Tuesday evening in honor of Miss Grace S mpson. Miss Grace Simpson entertained Sunday afternoon from 3 to 0 at a trousseau tea. She was assisted in receiving by her mother, Mrs. Pr;ter Simpson, and sister, Mrs. George Olsen. Miss Margaret S' mpson presided at the tea table and was assisted in serving by Mrs. Frank Morgan and Miss Ada Wright. The serving table was covered with a beautiful lace cloth centered with a crystal vase cf pint roses and pink sweet peas Piul: roses were at either end of the table. Over one hundred guests called during the afternoon. |
