Show Forest Notes New Terracing: Machine Proves Satisfactory The nei.v terracing rr.achine designed de-signed arxi built by CsUip Superintendent Superin-tendent Warthen and OaJvin Sud:-weeks Sud:-weeks of Camp F-50 has been tried out kjuring the past week and has graven veiy satisfactory for tTniat kind of work. By ccr Iressing the banks with a caterpillar equipped wit'm a bulldozer it is beleived that it Cvill be piucti trore satisfactory than where some of the banks are allowed to remain low. During the storms of Aragust 5th the terraces Constructed a year ago were unable to hold all the water on the steep slopes. Tey did, 'however, give ms reasonably good comtr:! of the run off on practically all the area terraced. On August 1Mb and 12th the 4-H club lir.OT.ibers from central Utah were taken over the experiments being be-ing (worked at the Greit Basin Experiment Ex-periment Station.
