Show S. C. Nielsen Passes Away Soren Christian Nielsen (Glade) 81, apmst and gardener, died at his hclxe, 593 South Difth West street, Tuesday afernoon at 12-35 folhUmg an illness of about one .tveek. His sons, Carl and Soren M. have been at his home almost continuously continu-ously during his illness, together with Will Johnson, who has been living ,with t.to during the past two Mr. Nielsen was born in Visborg, Jutland, Denmark cn October 16th' 1854, a son of Niels and Claudiainina Mahjaret Bonhn Jensen. As a young man he learned toe tailor's trade but never practiced this profession 'after coming to Axierica. He was iarrkd January 9th, 1880, to Jo-hannah Jo-hannah Marie Jensen of Kcastoorg, De.-,T.i rk. In 1I886 Mr. Nielson calme to America and spent two years in Michigan, returning to DerJ.xlark in 1888. He returned to America settling set-tling in Wisconsin in 1893, 'and joined join-ed his family in Mt. Pleasant in 1898. He is survived by his widow, four sons and' daughters, Soren M. Nielsen, Niel-sen, former president of North Sanpete San-pete L. D. S. Stike and Mrs. A. V. Borg, both of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Eisis M. Sidaell of Nephli and Carl Nielsen of- Fairview; 15 grandchildren grand-children iand eight great grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services will be conducted by Bishop Andrew L. Petersen in the L. D. S. South Ward chapel at 2 p. m. Saturday, with intealment in Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery, directed by the Ursenbadh Funenal hclxjs.
