Worksheet may be obtained from the county agent or from members of the agricultural conservation committee. Farm acreage, crops grewn in 1936 and the normal ic.d;- for such eiops shouid L.e given on the work sheet. There is no obligation incurred in submitting submitt-ing a work rheet. It is not a contract con-tract of any kind. Farmers who signed a work sheet in 1936 will not ne2d to give additional information regarding their farms unless the acreage has changed through purchase or sale. A complete record of all farms in each county is wanted by the government. Farmerr who may not ca-e to participate in the program will be asked to give a report on their farm acreage and the crops gr-wn last year. A map of each farm will be made during the year and a supervisor will vlrit each, farm to determine what has been done to qualify for payment through the program!. The aim' of the program is to aid th? farmer to conserve the fertility cf his own farm and is not com-pul'ory, com-pul'ory, but suggestive, Mr. Owens said. |
