Show Funeral For War Veteran Funeral services were held Monday Mon-day afternoon of last week at the Seuth ward chapel for William Parley Par-ley Allred. The choir sang, "O My Father." The opening prayer was ofTered by Elder Thomas Braby. The choir sang, "Sometime We'll Understand." The labor union read resolutions of sympathy and a duet, "A Perfect Day" was rendered by Opal Scovil and Ruby Hafen. Tributes to his miemory were given by Capt. L. R. ChrlKtensen, President H. C. Jacobs and Elder Joseph P. Johansen. Floyd Young of Fairview sang a solo, "SUep Soldier Boy." Ralph Brltch of Manti also sang a solo, "In My House There Are Many Mansions " Tho bendiction was given by Elder Ed. Winn of Nephi. The Grave in the city cemetery was dedicated by Bishop William L. Shelley and the burial was completed complet-ed with full military honors by the American Legion. |
